What if I am unhappy with a course or my Premium Subscription? Can I get a refund?

We would never want you to be unhappy! If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, contact us at [email protected] within the first 30 days and we will give you a full refund.

How long do I have access to a course*?

How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own.

*NOTE: This EXCLUDES our Premium Subscription option. If you sign up for our Premium Subscription, you will have access to all of our courses until you unsubscribe. After that, you will not have access.

What's the difference between buying a single course and signing up for the Premium Subscription?

Basically, it's rent vs. own. When you buy a course, you have lifetime access to it - you own it. However, you do not get access to our private Slack community. When you sign up for our Premium Subscription, you're essentially "renting" our entire library of career courses until you decide to unsubscribe. Also, with your Premium Subscription, you receive access to our private Slack community where you can ask our career support team questions and interact with other members.

If I had purchased a course in the past, what does this new subscription mean for that course?

If you purchased a course inside the Work It Daily platform in the past, you have lifetime access. You own that course, whether you're paying for the Premium Subscription or not.

What is Slack?

Slack is our private online community. This is where you'll ask our career support team questions and interact with other members of the Work It Daily community. This is a third-party community platform (which means, you'll likely have a different set of login information) we use to coach and motivate you, as well as encourage accountability. The best part? You can access it on your phone! To learn more about Slack and how it works, please visit their website.

What is included in the Slack community?

Our private Slack community allows you to chat with our career support team (trained career coaches by J.T. O'Donnell) and interact with other Work It Daily users. When you sign up for a Premium Subscription, you'll get access to our Slack community. It includes the following:

  • Access to our career support team
  • Access to a private community of Work It Daily users
  • Ability to submit resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile for review
  • Private messaging with our career support team through direct message (DM)
  • Public forum with our career support team and other Work It Daily users (public channels)
  • Ability to connect with other Work It Daily users privately through direct message (DM)

Where do I go to submit my resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile for review?

After you've gone through our Resume & Cover Letter Plan and put your resume and/or cover letter in our format, you may submit it for review in our private Slack channel. All you have to do is DM (direct message) your materials to @careercoach and we will review and provide feedback within 2 business days.

However, if they aren't in our format, we will direct you back to the course. Why do we do this? The course outlines step-by-step what you should do in terms of formatting, content, and so on. It's a more effective use of your time to go through the tutorial and then submit your materials because we can provide more targeted feedback on the content and strategy.

How long do I have access to the private Slack community?

As long as you're paying for a Premium Subscription, you will have access to our private Slack community.

How do I log into Slack?

You can log into our private Slack community at https://workitdaily.slack.com/ using the login information you created when you got invited to the platform. Please check your email or hit "Forgot Password?" if you can't remember your login credentials. If you still have questions, you may contact us at [email protected]

What is the difference between the Facebook group and the Slack community?

Facebook Group: Our private Facebook group is a free community we offer to our followers. It's a place you can go to interact with other followers, get access to exclusive discounts, and stay motivated - career support is NOT guaranteed in our private Facebook group, and we don't offer resume, cover letter, or LinkedIn profile reviews. Essentially, it's a free forum for our followers to interact.

Slack Community: Our private Slack community offers you a higher level of career support by our trained team of career experts, as well as resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile reviews. You pay for access to this community as part of your Premium Subscription.

Who makes up the career support team?

J.T. O'Donnell, founder and CEO of Work It Daily, has 20 years of experience in career coaching, recruiting, and career development. Our career support team is made up of people who have been personally trained by her to help our users get the best career support possible.

What happened to Office Hours?

Due to lack of attendance, we removed our live Office Hours programming. With that said, we will still post video responses to questions in our private Slack community when necessary.

The videos aren't loading. What's happening?

This could be the result of a few things. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this issue:

  1. Clear your cache/cookies & refresh your page
  2. Try a different web browser
  3. Check your Internet connection (slow speeds cause video player issues)
  4. Reboot your computer
  5. Contact us with details at [email protected] We will investigate further.

I can't access the private Slack community. Help?

As a Premium Subscriber, you should have received an invitation from Work It Daily's Slack community within one business day of signing up. If you didn't get this email, please reach out to us immediately at [email protected]

If you did get this email, but still can't login, make sure you're using the correct login credentials. Your Slack login credentials might not be the same as your Work It Daily login credentials to access your courses. If you're having trouble, please email us.

If you just purchased a course individually or have an older subscription that you're grandfathered into, you do not have access to our private Slack community, so you would not get login credentials.

I can't figure out how to use Slack. What should I do?

You can log into our private Slack community at https://workitdaily.slack.com/ using the login information you created when you got invited to the platform. Please check your email or hit "Forgot Password?" if you can't remember your login credentials. Please watch this basic tutorial of Slack and how to message others within the channel.
